Maintaining our existing infrastructure and ensuring our community grows responsibly with sustainable infrastructure is a top priority. That is why Chris has supported legislation that provides transparency and establishes greater accountability within the South Carolina Department of Transportation, streamlines the process to build new roads and fix existing roads and fully funds the infrastructure priorities of District 98 and South Carolina. In 2022, Chris supported and helped lead the state putting approximately $1.2 billion to fix our roads.
